Ariel Bangs, a local chef, culinary anthropologist, educator, food justice/food access and healing-through-food advocate witnessed the need to offer healthy plant based food boxes to the urban communities when COVID began to impact the lives of everyone in March. The communities we serve are residents all over Seattle, with our focus on African American, African, Hispanic, and indigenous communities.

As a private chef and baker, I am the visionary of Healthy Creations, a culinary anthropology company. I create specialty meals and desserts for those with food sensitivities—a much needed addition to the catering world. Food should be delicious, welcoming, and inclusive to everyone. As a local chef, I am a mainstay with private clients, schools, and community organizations. I am known for bringing fun and flavor to cultural meals, clean eating, and slow food. Because of my blend of culinary skill and community involvement, I am able to work with corporate, non-profit, and educational institutions. I also offer in home meal services and private catering for executives, based upon specific eating plans. I specialize in tasty vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and allergen free meals and desserts that can be enjoyed by all. I’d love to bring inclusive food to your next event.
