Mi Cuba Café is located in Columbia Heights /Brighton in Washington D.C. This little Cuban café has won Best Washingtonian Cheap Eats in both 2013 and 2015 and insists that the Cuban sandwich isn’t the only cuisine worth trying in the Cuban culture. Mi Cuba Café has the diverse and deep aromas and flavors of Cuba that will keep you coming back for more. Some of the delicious options at Mi Cuba Café include churrasco, an entrée made with skirt steak, masas de cerdo fritas which is fried pork with onion, and of course the restaurant has the traditional Cuban sandwich, complete with the ‘proper’ Cuban bread. For appetizers, the restaurant also serves croquettes, empanadas and papas rellenas, which are sure get the meal off to a great start.
