Established in 2019, Osito’s Tap is a “speakeasy” inspired bar highlighting the art of craft spirits, beer, & cocktails, that brings a modern Latin flair to a classic Chicago era. With a fresh and health conscious food menu, this community “speakeasy” is value driven in educating and creating a community space that is inclusive, fun, and historically remembering.
In the early 1900’s Little Village was once home to a predominately Czech immigrant community. The grey-stone architecture of that time currently houses Osito’s and can be seen throughout the community. Once home to a Bohemian bar and underground bookie joint, we have incorporated the legacy of this immigrant community in our design, food, and bar menu. A community legacy that continues to be prideful, hard-working, and a cultural force in Chicago.
