Owner Hank Johnson knows no strangers. He started his career working as the road manager for popular Atlanta artists, which created the foundation for his deep Atlanta roots. During the touring years, he became known as ‘Happy Hour Hank.’ Never about bells and whistles, his desire for well-seasoned food inspired his unique culinary journey.
While promoting Atlanta night clubs, Hank was exposed to short-order cooking. His passion for entertaining and promoting good times collided with his flavorful style of cooking and led him to open what began as a food stand in the heart of Atlanta’s midtown. That stand grew into the restaurants that we now know as Tom, Dick & Hank. Pulling from his music life, Goodie Mob’s “Cell Therapy” inspired the name. For Hank, it is all about good food, good drinks, and good people.
